A guest who found you on a travel app, liked the stay and wants to come back next May should be able to book with you directly. We build websites for Nilgiris hotels, cottages and homestays that take that booking, show the season's rate and confirm it on WhatsApp.
AvanceZone Technology, a web design company in Sulur, Coimbatore, has built websites since 1998 and builds them for businesses in Ooty, Coonoor and Kotagiri. For hotels, cottages and homestays we build direct-booking sites: room pages, rates by season, an availability enquiry, a payment link and a WhatsApp confirmation. A 5-page site is ₹9,999 one-time plus hosting, a 15-page CMS site with seasonal rates is ₹24,999, and online stores for chocolate or tea start at ₹40,000. We are not based in Ooty. It is about 95 km by road from Sulur via Mettupalayam, so we work remotely and drive up for larger projects.
The Nilgiris district's export action plan counts more than 14,000 families who depend on hotels, restaurants, lodges, cottages and tourist taxis. If your rooms are listed on online travel agencies (OTAs), you pay a commission on every booking they send.
That fee is fair for a guest the app found for you. It is harder to justify for a family who stayed last year or a group sent by a friend. A direct-booking site does not replace the apps; it gives those guests a route that costs no commission, and gives every guest somewhere to check you are real before paying an advance.

What we build for a stay
Room pages with real photos, rates by season, an availability enquiry or booking request, a payment link for the advance, a WhatsApp confirmation and a map pin.
What we do not sell
A channel manager, or a two-way link to travel-app calendars. If you already use a channel manager and want the site to read availability from it, that is a custom integration, quoted by scope once we have seen its API.

Check-in, check-out, adults and children, with your seasonal rate table beside the form. On a custom build, the rate for those exact dates is worked out for them.
On the ₹24,999 package the form sends an availability enquiry. On a custom build the site checks a calendar you keep in the admin panel and greys out dates already taken.
As a WhatsApp message and an email with every detail. You say yes, or offer another room.
You send your usual UPI link by hand, or a custom build creates the link and marks the booking paid.

The flower show at the Government Botanical Garden is held every May; the 2026 show ran for 11 days. Around it, Coonoor holds an annual fruit show at Sim's Park and Kotagiri a vegetable show at Nehru Park. Guests often look you up on a phone while travelling. On a weak signal, a heavy page with a slider and video never finishes loading, and the guest moves on.
Resized, compressed and loaded only as the guest scrolls to them.
Tariffs typed as text, not a photo of a rate card, so they load first and Google can read them.
One good photo of the view does more than a slider, and costs the guest less data.

Vehicles entering the Nilgiris have needed an e-pass since May 2024 under Madras High Court orders. Explain it and point to the official portal; do not copy rules that change.

The district plan counts about 20 homemade chocolate units and 400 bakeries, and calls Ooty varkey famous across the country. A store needs weight, ingredients and shelf life on each box, and how you pack for the heat of the plains.
Four large units and several small ones make eucalyptus, citronella, geranium, lemongrass and other aromatic oils, sold in shops across the district. Each oil needs bottle size, use and safety notes online.
The Nilgiris is South India's largest tea-growing district, with 16 INDCOSERVE cooperative factories and over 100 private ones. The Nilgiri (Orthodox) name and logo are GIs held by the Tea Board, for certified tea only, so a shop's site uses them only if that applies.

We are not based in Ooty. Our only office is in Sulur, about 95 km by road through Mettupalayam and up the ghat road, so a visit is a day trip. Most work is remote; visits are kept for when they matter.
