Web Design Company in Dindigul for Biryani Kitchens, Tanneries & Hill Hotels

People know Dindigul by name for its biryani and its locks, and they come to the district for Palani and Kodaikanal. We build websites that turn that name into orders, enquiries and bookings: for restaurants, tanneries, lock makers, Chinnalapatti weavers and hotels.

AvanceZone Technology builds websites for Dindigul businesses from our office in Sulur, Coimbatore, about 130 km away by road, and has done so since 1998. For a biryani restaurant that means a menu people can order from, outlet pages and a franchise-enquiry form. For a tannery it means leather spec pages and audit details, and for a Kodaikanal or Palani stay, rooms, tariffs and a booking request. A 5-page site is ₹9,999 one-time plus hosting, a 15-page CMS site is ₹24,999 and an online store starts at ₹40,000. We are not based in Dindigul; the work runs on phone, video and WhatsApp.

ONE DISTRICT, MANY GI NAMES

Dindigul's Protected Names, and How a Seller's Site Should Use Them

Dindigul district has at least five registered Geographical Indications. They help sell, but a GI is a legal right, not a slogan: the name belongs to the registered proprietor and its authorised users.

ProductGI statusOn your website

WORKED EXAMPLE · A BIRYANI RESTAURANT

From "Biryani Near Me" to a Confirmed Function Order

Dindigul biryani is known across Tamil Nadu. The Dindigul Thalappakatti chain began in 1957 as a four-seat eatery in the town, and its owners later went to the Madras High Court to protect the "Thalappakatti" name. The lessons for any biryani business here: build your own name rather than borrowing one, and own your customers instead of renting them from an app. A site that does that has five parts:

  • 1
Found on GoogleOne page per outlet with address, hours, phone and map pin, matching its Google Business Profile word for word.
  • 2
A menu that loads on a cheap phoneDishes, portions (plate, half, full or by the kilo) and prices, changed from the CMS in a minute.
  • 3
Orders the way you take them nowTap-to-call and a "send order on WhatsApp" button. Online payment can come later as a separate build.
  • 4
Function and bulk ordersA form for weddings, house-warmings and office lunches: date, guests, kilos of each biryani, venue and delivery time.
  • 5
Franchise enquiriesA form asking for city, premises, investment range and food-business experience, so you only phone serious applicants.

A function order as it reaches your WhatsApp

Function order from website
Event: house-warming, Sunday 22 Feb
Guests: about 150
Mutton biryani: 12 kg
Chicken biryani: 10 kg
Brinjal curry and raita: with the order
Venue: Vedasandur · deliver by 12:30 PM
Advance: to be confirmed on call

This is an illustration, not a real order or customer. It arrives as plain text on WhatsApp and email, so whoever takes bookings today carries on as before.

Direct orders carry no aggregator commission. App listings still bring new customers, so keep both.

Automatic confirmations, or a weekend-special message to customers who opted in, run on the WhatsApp Business API. As a verified Meta Tech Provider we handle the setup; Meta charges for each template message.

TANNERIES & LEATHER EXPORTERS

A Tannery Site That Reads Like a Leather Spec Sheet

Dindigul had about 60 tanneries in 2001 and has long been one of Tamil Nadu's leather centres. Several Dindigul tanneries, including units at Begampur, appear on the Leather Working Group's public list of certified suppliers. Buyers look for these before asking for swatches.

🐐

What you tan

Species, crust or finished, grain type and tannage (chrome or vegetable), one page per leather.

📏

Thickness and size

Thickness in millimetres and average skin size in square feet.

👞

What it is for

Shoe uppers, lining, garments, gloves or bags, so buyers see at once whether you fit.

🎨

Colour and finish cards

Swatches photographed in daylight, and a sample request form.

✅

Audits with dates

Your LWG rating and audit expiry exactly as on the LWG listing, and other certificates with scope and validity.

🚢

Export details

IEC, your RCMC from the Council for Leather Exports, and an enquiry form asking for square feet and destination.

LOCK MAKERS

Selling a Dindigul Lock Straight to the Buyer

The lock trade has shrunk badly. DT Next reported in February 2020 that the makers who relied on it had fallen from over 2,000 in the 1990s to about 60, even after the GI came through in 2019.

For the makers still working, buyers who search for a Dindigul lock by name are worth more than another dealer. A small online store suits them: each lock with its mechanism, body metal, size and number of keys, a short video of it working, and shipping across India.

CHINNALAPATTI WEAVERS

Sarees That Already Sell Overseas

Chinnalapatti, 11 km from Dindigul, weaves silk sarees known as Chinnalappattu as well as cotton Sungudi. More than 10,000 people work in its looms, dyeing and printing, and its Sungudi sarees are exported to Singapore, Malaysia, Sri Lanka and South Africa.

So a weaver's or society's store should be ready for buyers abroad from day one: shipping charges by country, a note on delivery times and duties, and a payment gateway that accepts international cards, where your gateway account allows it.

KODAIKANAL & PALANI

Rooms in the Hills, Lodges Below the Temple

Both are in Dindigul district, and guests book both from a phone. These pages decide whether they book with you directly.

🏔️

Kodaikanal hotels and homestays

Each room type with your own photos, what the tariff includes, parking, hot water, late check-in, and how far you are from the lake and the bus stand.

🎫

The e-pass question

Since May 2024, tourists driving to Kodaikanal have needed an e-pass under Madras High Court directions, and the rules have changed more than once. A short "getting here" note, dated and pointing to the official portal, saves your reception many calls.

🛕

Palani lodges

Thai Poosam, in the Tamil month of Thai (mid-January to mid-February), is the busiest time, with pilgrims walking in from Madurai, Dindigul, Theni and Sivaganga. Publish festival tariffs and booking rules weeks ahead, with distance to the hill foot.

📩

Booking and confirmation

A booking-request form fits the ₹24,999 package; online booking with an advance payment is a custom build. Confirmations go out by SMS or WhatsApp with the address and a map link. See our hospitality page.

We also build for Dindigul's spinning mills, and for traders at Oddanchatram, which Wikipedia calls Tamil Nadu's largest vegetable market; a daily rate page is often all a trader needs.

HOW A DINDIGUL PROJECT RUNS

About Two Hours' Drive Away, and Planned That Way

We are in Sulur, about 130 km from Dindigul, with no office or staff in the district. Most sites never need a visit.

Day 1: a call

Phone or video, in Tamil or English. You describe the business; a written scope with a fixed price follows.

Week 1: your material on WhatsApp

Menu or tariff card, addresses, photos, certificates. We write the pages from those.

Week 2: staging link

Open the link on your own phone, go through it with whoever runs the counter, and send corrections in a WhatsApp message.

Week 3: launch and training

A recorded screen-share session on changing prices, menus or tariffs.

When we do come over

Multi-outlet ordering or a hotel booking setup gets a dated day in Dindigul for kickoff or training.

After launch, call +91-95851-60363 or message us on WhatsApp, 9 AM to 7 PM, Monday to Saturday.

FAQ

Dindigul Websites: Answers to Common Questions

How much does a website cost for a Dindigul restaurant, hotel or workshop?
A 5-page site for a single-outlet restaurant, a lodge or a lock maker is ₹9,999 one-time plus hosting. A 15-page CMS site for a restaurant group, a Kodaikanal hotel or a tannery is ₹24,999. Online stores start at ₹40,000; ordering or booking with payment is quoted by scope. Hosting is from ₹900 a year, and prices exclude 18% GST. See our website cost guide.
Can customers order biryani from our own website?
Yes, in two steps. The ₹24,999 site gives each dish a "send order on WhatsApp" button and a tap-to-call link, so orders reach the phone you already answer. Full online ordering with cart and payment is an e-commerce or custom build. Keep your delivery-app listings too; the website is for customers who already know your name.
Do you have an office in Dindigul?
No. We work from a single office in Sulur, Coimbatore, some 130 km from Dindigul by road. Most Dindigul sites are built over phone, video and WhatsApp. For bigger jobs, such as ordering across several outlets or a hotel booking setup, we fix a day in Dindigul for the kickoff or staff training.
Can we call our product a "Dindigul lock" on our website?
Dindigul lock has been a registered Geographical Indication since 2019, held by the lock makers' co-operative society. Use the GI name for your product only if you are registered as an authorised user. If you are not, we describe your locks plainly, for example as handmade in Dindigul, and leave the GI wording out.
Will a franchise page bring us franchise enquiries?
It gives serious applicants somewhere to go, and a form that filters out the rest by asking for city, premises, investment range and experience. We cannot promise a number of enquiries; that depends on your brand and how you promote the page. Each enquiry does arrive complete, on email and WhatsApp.
How long will the website take?
A restaurant or lodge site usually goes live 2 to 3 weeks after your menu, tariffs and photos reach us. Sites that send SMS or WhatsApp confirmations take longer, because the templates need approval first: DLT for SMS, Meta for WhatsApp.
Can the site be in Tamil and English, and other languages for tourists?
Yes. Tamil and English is the usual pair. A Kodaikanal hotel may also want Hindi or Malayalam pages for visitors from other states; send us the translated text and we set up each language with its own pages and hreflang tags, so search engines show visitors the right version.
