Pollachi ships coconuts and copra to the Gulf, sells cattle to buyers from Kerala twice a week and sends visitors up to Topslip and Valparai. We build websites for the people behind that trade. Our office is about an hour away in Sulur, so we come to Pollachi to meet you.
AvanceZone Technology is a web design company in Sulur, Coimbatore, about 50 km by road from Pollachi, and has built and hosted websites since 1998. We are not based in Pollachi, but it is close enough that we come to your mandi shop, farm or homestay for the first meeting and for training. Four trades, what the record shows about each, and what each needs online.
About 80% of Pollachi's coconut exports go to Gulf countries, and in July 2026 traders reported fresh enquiries for coconuts and copra from Dubai, Saudi Arabia and Oman. Tender coconuts have gone as far as London, Japan and Singapore, and coir units turn husk into fibre and pith. Importers need an English page they can act on.
Cottage units in the Pollachi and Udumalpet sugarcane belt make natural brown jaggery. In February 2026 farmers there said wholesale buyers paid ₹55 to ₹60 a kilo, and that the product keeps for only two or three months. Packed jaggery sold direct, with a clear made-on date, keeps more of the price with the maker.
The market near Gandhi Market runs on Tuesdays and Thursdays. On 17 March 2026, ahead of Ramadan, more than 3,000 animals came in and the day's trade touched ₹6 crore, with animals from Andhra Pradesh and Karnataka and buyers from Kerala. A trader who tells buyers what he is bringing can take calls before market day.
Topslip, in the Anamalai Tiger Reserve, is about 37 km from Pollachi and Valparai about 65 km. Aliyar dam, with its park and boating, sits at the foot of the Valparai hills. Pollachi is also a regular Tamil film location. Stays, cabs and guides here need pages that work on a phone.

Buyers who opted in get a WhatsApp message when new stock or a new rate is ready, from your verified business number.
Coconut and copra rates move daily, and a week-old rate on a page does more harm than none. If nobody will change it each morning, the page should say "rate on WhatsApp" instead.
Not every Pollachi business needs an export page. These three need something smaller.
Pack sizes, made-on and best-before dates on each product, your FSSAI number in the footer and courier charges at checkout. When a batch runs out or gets old, you mark it sold out from the admin panel.
Negamam cotton sarees, woven in villages near Pollachi, carry a GI tag. A small store shows each saree in daylight with length, border and weave, names the weaver, and uses the GI name only if the weaver or society is a registered authorised user.
The Basic package is enough: your phone number, the days you are at the Pollachi market, what you usually deal in and a WhatsApp button. Buyers then ask on WhatsApp which animals are coming this week.

Visitors heading for Topslip, Valparai or Aliyar often stop in Pollachi or stay on a farm nearby, and they usually choose on a phone. Your site should answer what they would otherwise ask on WhatsApp, then hand them to you on WhatsApp with their dates already typed.
One thing we will not do is make your site look as if it sells forest-department safaris or stays inside the reserve. If guests need those, your page should send them to the official channel. Being plain about it is part of why guests trust you.
