Online stores for Coimbatore manufacturers who want to sell direct, and for retailers who have outgrown taking orders on the phone. Catalogue, checkout, GST invoicing, courier booking and order messages are built as one system, and because the SMS gateway and WhatsApp platform are ours, order alerts are part of the build.
AvanceZone builds custom e-commerce websites for manufacturers and retailers in Coimbatore, from our office in Sulur. A typical store takes UPI, card and net-banking payments through Razorpay or PayU, issues GST invoices with the right tax split for each buyer's state, books shipments through a courier aggregator, checks cash-on-delivery orders by SMS or WhatsApp, and sends order updates from our own messaging platform. Stores are quoted after scoping, since price depends on catalogue size, shipping rules and dealer pricing. You own the code and the domain.
Coimbatore makes a large share of what India buys in a few product lines. According to Wikipedia's Coimbatore article, the city supplies nearly 50% of India's motors and pumps and about 75% of the country's wet-grinder output, and the "Coimbatore Wet Grinder" carries a Geographical Indication. A direct store does not replace dealers. It takes the orders they do not: spares for an older model, a buyer in another state, a repeat customer ordering at 10 PM.
Impellers, seals, capacitors, bearings and winding kits listed against the pump models they fit, found from the nameplate.
Product pages that show the GI and any certification marks clearly, spare drums, stones and belts sold separately, and warranty registration by serial number after delivery.
Size and colour variants with stock per variant. For Tiruppur knitwear brands, wholesale packs and single retail pieces can come from the same catalogue.
Thread, bore, material and grade as filters, with "request a quote" on made-to-order items.
Shops that run billing software and want website stock to match the counter, with in-store pickup as an option.
A spares store fails when the customer cannot tell whether a part fits. A standard product page shows an item, a photo and a price; a spares catalogue needs a compatibility table behind every page.
Many manufacturers want retail buyers and dealers on the same site without either seeing the other's price. Dealer accounts handle that:
Most of the work in a store happens after the customer taps Buy. We build these parts and test them with real orders before launch.
Razorpay, PayU or a gateway you already use, for UPI, cards and net banking. An order is marked paid only after the gateway's server-side confirmation is verified, so a dropped connection cannot create a false "paid" order.
HSN code and tax rate per product. CGST and SGST for buyers in Tamil Nadu, IGST for other states, decided by the delivery address. Invoice numbers run in one series per financial year, within GST's 16-character limit.
A Shiprocket-type aggregator for pincode serviceability at checkout, rates by actual and volumetric weight, AWB and labels, pickups, and tracking written back to the order.
Consignments worth more than ₹50,000 need an e-way bill. The order already holds the GSTINs, HSN codes, value and addresses, so nothing is typed twice.
COD orders get an SMS OTP or WhatsApp confirmation request before packing; unconfirmed orders wait. COD can be limited by pincode or order value.
Return requests with photos, reverse pickup through the courier partner, and refunds to the original payment method from the admin panel.
We run a DLT-compliant SMS gateway and a WhatsApp Business API platform as a Meta Tech Provider, so order messages go out from our infrastructure and you know the cost per message before launch.
Order updates on WhatsApp are utility messages, about ₹0.115 each in India as of October 2026, plus 18% GST and the platform fee. Cart reminders are marketing messages, about ₹0.86 each, and need the shopper's opt-in, collected at checkout. Since 1 October 2026, replies inside WhatsApp's 24-hour window are free only for the first 1,000 a month per business number, then charged at the utility rate.
SMS costs ₹0.18 a message on a 10,000 pack or ₹0.14 on a 50,000 pack, and reaches phones without WhatsApp. For abandoned carts we default to one WhatsApp reminder, since each one is charged at the marketing rate.
Product names, descriptions and order messages can be held in Tamil and English, with the customer choosing on the site. Three practical points:
We build custom stores, and a custom store is not always the right answer. This is how we explain the trade-off when people ask.
| Custom build (what we do) | Shopify | WooCommerce | |
|---|---|---|---|
| Upfront cost | Highest; fixed after scoping | Low: theme and setup | Low to medium: theme, plugins, setup |
| Running cost | Hosting and an optional maintenance contract; no platform subscription | Monthly plan plus paid apps; check the transaction fee for your plan with a third-party gateway | Hosting, premium plugin renewals, and someone to apply updates |
| Spares by model | Built around your catalogue | Apps or theme customisation | Plugins or custom code |
| Dealer prices & credit | Built to your rules | Higher plans or apps | Plugins of mixed quality |
| GST invoice, COD checks | Built in | Apps | Plugins |
| SMS & WhatsApp alerts | On our own platform | Apps from messaging vendors | Plugins from messaging vendors |
| Code and data | You own the code | Hosted by the platform; data exportable | You own the installation |
| Time to first sale | Weeks | Days | Days to weeks |
| Suits | Spares, dealer pricing, links to billing or ERP | Standard retail, fast start | Content-led stores on WordPress |
If your catalogue is small and you sell like a normal retail shop, a hosted platform is usually cheaper, and we will say so. Our SMS and WhatsApp APIs can still be connected to it for order alerts.
Two stores with the same number of pages can differ several times over in the work behind them, so we do not publish a fixed store price. For reference, our basic website is ₹9,999 and our CMS business website ₹24,999, one-time plus hosting. Most small stores cost more than either, because payments, catalogue and order workflows are where the work is. The quote is fixed after scoping, and these move it:
| Item | What to expect |
|---|---|
| Hosting | From ₹900 a year for small sites; a large catalogue needs a bigger plan |
| Domain | Renewed every year, in your name |
| Payment gateway | A percentage per transaction, agreed with the gateway |
| Shipping | Per parcel from the aggregator's rate card; COD usually carries an extra fee |
| SMS | ₹0.18 each (10,000 pack) or ₹0.14 (50,000 pack) |
| ≈ ₹0.115 utility, ≈ ₹0.86 marketing, plus GST and platform fee (Oct 2026) | |
| Maintenance | Optional yearly contract for updates, fixes and small changes |
A first release for a small catalogue usually takes six to ten weeks. Product data and DLT and WhatsApp template approvals start in week one, because they are what most often slips.
Products, prices, shipping and GST reviewed against a catalogue sample; fixed quote with written scope.
Home, category, product, cart and checkout screens, phone first.
Checkout, gateway, courier, invoices and messages on a staging site you can click through.
Alongside the build: products, photos, compatibility tables and prices imported and checked.
Real orders end to end: payment, refund, COD, label, tracking, invoice and every message.
Staff training in Tamil or English, then support from our Sulur office.
One of our builds is an online store with catalogue, cart, payment gateway (UPI, cards, net banking) and real-time inventory so nothing oversells. The customer gets a short SMS when the order is placed, confirmed, shipped and out for delivery. The owner runs products, stock and orders from one dashboard, and support calls dropped because customers knew where their orders were.
If buyers mostly ask for a quote, a business website with a catalogue and a WhatsApp enquiry button is cheaper to run than a cart.
If the store has to share stock with production, plan the two together: a custom ERP can be the source of stock and prices the store reads, so the website and the factory floor agree.
For message flows that retailers commonly use, see our retail and e-commerce use cases.
Send a sample of your catalogue and how you sell today: retail, dealers or both. We reply the same working day, and send a fixed quote after scoping.
