An education group running several institutions was juggling registers, spreadsheets and a lot of paper. Attendance lived in one place, marks in another, fees in a third, and parents were always a step behind. They wanted one system — and they wanted parents kept in the loop automatically.
One portal, three audiences
We built role-based access for staff, students and parents. Teachers mark attendance and enter results from any device. Administrators track fees, dues and reminders. Parents log in to see exactly how their child is doing — and, crucially, get an SMS the moment something matters: an absence, a result, a fee due date.
Why the SMS layer mattered
Most parents won't log into a portal every day, but they will read a text. By tying attendance, exams and fees to automatic SMS, the group closed the gap between what the school knew and what parents knew — same day, every day.
