A marriage information centre runs on a counter, a register and a phone. This page follows that office through a working day: which parts Matrimonial Cloud handles today, which parts we would build for you, and how the bureau then goes online under its own name.
Marriage bureau software has to fit the office before it fits the internet. Families walk in, register at the counter, pay in cash or UPI and leave a horoscope copy. On AvanceZone's Matrimonial Cloud, your staff register them through the same form members use online, record star and rasi, enter counter payments as offline collections, and clear photos through moderation and verification queues, with separate moderator and verification-officer roles. The same records then become your own branded website on your own domain, with SMS and WhatsApp alerts. We are in Sulur, Coimbatore, and the price is quoted after a demo call.
Most matrimony software assumes the member does everything on a phone. A bureau works the other way round, at least to begin with.
| Question | Marriage information centre | Online matrimony portal |
|---|---|---|
| Who fills in the profile? | Staff, with the family at the counter | The member, on a phone |
| How are fees paid? | Cash or UPI at the counter | Online, through a gateway |
| How are matches found? | Staff shortlist profiles and show the family | Members search and send interests |
| Why do families trust it? | They know the person at the desk | Verification badges and privacy settings |
A bureau needs staff to do the data entry first and members to get self-service later. Matrimonial Cloud covers both because counter collection and staff roles are part of the platform, not an afterthought.
A family comes in on a Saturday morning to register their daughter. This is what your staff do, and what the software records at each step.
Staff open the registration form on the office computer or a tablet and fill it in with the family. The OTP goes to the family's own email address, which confirms the contact is real.
Star and rasi are profile fields and search filters. Birth place and horoscope notes go in too. Keep the paper jathagam copy on file as you do now.
The photo taken or scanned at the counter goes into the photo moderation queue for approval.
Cash or UPI at the counter is entered as an offline collection against the plan the family chose.
A verification officer checks ID. On our demo portals the verified badge appears only after that manual approval.
The profile appears in search under the member's privacy settings, with the phone number masked.
Families without email. Registration uses an email OTP today. If many of your walk-ins do not use email, tell us at the demo: an SMS or WhatsApp OTP at registration would be a custom change, quoted by scope.
Each person gets their own login and role, so the owner's password stays with the owner and nobody needs more access than their job.
Sets plan names and prices, coupons, moderation rules and which features are switched on.
Work through the photo and profile moderation queues.
Check ID documents and mark profiles verified.
Handle walk-in registrations, renewals and the phone calls that follow.
In a bureau, staff pick a handful of profiles and show them to a family. Here is how that works on the platform now, and what would be custom.

Each bureau's portal has its own email, SMS and WhatsApp channels, so messages arrive under your name, not ours. The messages bureaus usually want are simple: an interest received, a profile approved, a membership about to lapse. We go through which of these your portal sends on its own during the demo, and quote any that need adding.
Two pieces of paperwork come first. SMS needs DLT registration in your bureau's name; the entity fee is about ₹5,900 a year including GST, renewed annually on Jio, Airtel and Vi. WhatsApp needs Meta business verification and approved templates, which we handle as a Meta Tech Provider. Our DLT guide and WhatsApp API page for Tamil Nadu cover both.

வணக்கம். (Bureau name) Gold membership for profile TM-1042 ends on 30 November.
Renew at our office, or online from your profile page.
This is an illustration, not a real message or member. A Tamil SMS fits 70 characters per part rather than 160, so we keep SMS versions short and leave the longer wording for WhatsApp.
You name and price your own plans; Gold, Premium, VIP and Diamond is the default style. A family can renew in cash at the counter one year and by UPI from home the next, and both payments are in the same billing module, with coupons for festival offers and GST invoices. The detail is on membership and billing.
Free downloads and Windows programs for marriage bureaus are easy to find. Free is fine for trying an idea. It is a poor home for families' photos, phone numbers and horoscopes.
A failed disk, a theft or a virus can take the whole register with it, unless someone takes backups and stores them somewhere else.
Staff queue for the counter PC, and the owner cannot check the day's registrations from home.
Families cannot search or renew by themselves, and a website bought later will not share data with the desktop program.
Under the DPDP Act, 2023 the bureau must protect the personal data it collects, whatever software it uses. Most duties under the Rules notified in November 2025 are scheduled from May 2027.

Show us the paper form your counter uses today. On the call we open the live portal with the same fields side by side, then send a written quote. Tamil or English, Monday to Saturday, 9 AM to 7 PM.
